Privacy policy

Last updated August 22, 2026

This policy explains what information Get EraserImg collects. It also explains why that information is collected and how it is used. It applies to everyone who creates an account. It also applies if you browse the catalog or complete a purchase.

Information we collect

  • Account details you provide at signup: your full name, your email address, and a password. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Only a securely hashed version is kept. If you sign up or log in with Google instead, we receive only your name, email address, and Google account profile photo from Google to create and verify your account (see "Signing in with Google" below), and no password is stored for that account at all.
  • A short-lived one-time verification code sent to your email address to confirm you own it. The code expires shortly after it's issued and is deleted once used or expired.
  • Public profile details you choose to add: a username and an avatar image. Both are optional and only stored if you set them yourself from your profile page.
  • Purchase records: the product purchased, the amount, the currency, the payment provider (Paddle), and the order status.
  • License activity: your license key, which domain it's currently activated on, and activation/verification timestamps.
  • Reviews you submit: your star rating and written comment for a product, linked to your account and shown publicly on our reviews page.
  • Profile view records: if you're signed in and visit another user's public profile, that visit is logged so the profile owner can see who's viewed their profile, similar to a professional networking site. Signed-out visits are not attributed to an account.
  • Basic technical data such as your IP address, used for fraud prevention, abuse detection, and rate limiting on sign-in, checkout, and other sensitive actions.

Public profile information

If you set a username or avatar, that information is displayed on your public profile page, which anyone with the link can view, including signed-out visitors. Your email address and purchase or license history are never shown on your public profile; those stay private to your account.

Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google" instead of creating a password, Get EraserImg requests only three pieces of information from your Google account: your name, your email address, and your Google account profile photo. We use this solely to create your account, verify your identity, and pre-fill your profile photo, which you can change or remove at any time from your profile page. No password is created or stored for a Google-based account.

We do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service, and we never ask for more than your name, email, and profile photo. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. That data is used only to operate your account on Get EraserImg. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI or machine learning models.

How your information is secured

Passwords are never stored in plain text; only a securely hashed, one-way version is kept, which means even we cannot read your original password. Email verification codes and one-time sign-in links are single-use, expire shortly after they are issued, and are deleted once used. All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to account and purchase data is restricted to the systems that need it to operate the site, such as processing a login or issuing a license key.

How we use it

Your information is used to create and secure your account. It is used to deliver license keys and process payments. It is used to respond to support requests and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Payment data

Card and wallet details are handled directly by our payment provider Paddle. Get EraserImg never stores full card numbers or wallet credentials on its own servers. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for every order and processes your billing information under its own privacy policy. See our payment methods page for more detail.

Data retention

Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account is active. They are kept for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting and legal requirements. You can request deletion of your account by contacting support.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct inaccurate details or request that your account be closed. Closing your account deletes your profile details, avatar, and any data received from Google, along with your login credentials; purchase and license records are kept only as long as required for accounting and legal purposes, as described above. Reach out through the support address in your purchase confirmation email and we will respond as soon as possible.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect checkout from abuse. We do not use third party advertising cookies.
